Equipalazone 1g Oral Powder is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that provides effective treatment for chronic cases of musculo-skeletal inflammation in horses, such as degenerative joint disease. Commonly referred to as Osteoarthritis, degenerative joint disease is a progressive, long-term deterioration of the cartilage surrounding joints, which causes stiffness and long periods of inactivity. Equipalazone is an easy-to-administer drug that effectively helps to control the pain and inflammation associated with Osteoarthritis in horses.

When given as directed by your vet, the active ingredient, phenylbutazone, affects the production of tissue relaxing hormones that gives anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. With these properties, Equipalazone sachets can also be used in the management of post-operative pain associated with soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries in horses.

Equipalazone 1g Oral Powder is manufactured by Dechra and developed specifically for horses. As such it must never be used in other animals.
