Loxicom Oral Suspension is indicated for the alleviation of inflammation and pain in both acute and chronic musculo-skeletal disorders. Osteoarthritis and similar conditions can be successfully managed with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID’s), such as Loxicom. NSAID’s are effective in controlling the pain and inflammation associated with Osteoarthritis in dogs by affecting hormone levels in the body.
When given as directed by your vet, the active ingredient affects the production of tissue relaxing hormones. By increasing the levels of these hormones, Loxicom initiates anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects to help with pain and swelling. Loxicom can therefore be used in the management of post-operative pain in dogs.
Loxicom Oral Suspension is manufactured by Norbrook and developed specifically for dogs. As such, it must never be used in other animals.
